Kate Markland
Clinic Director and Specialist Physiotherapist, BSc (Hons) PG Dip MDT SRP MCSP
Kate graduated from Kings College London where she received training at St Thomas's and Kings College Hospitals, London. Since qualifying Kate has completed The McKenzie Institute International's Diploma, which identifies the highest level of clinical excellence in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Although this method enjoys an excellent reputation internationally and scientifically, Kate is one of very few clinicians in the UK to hold this qualification.
Kate enjoys the personal challenge of competitive sport. She rowed at a National level and was selected for Great Britain Team Trials in 1999. She is now a keen runner and has completed the 2003, 2006 and 2007 Flora London Marathons.
Kate understands the need for sports injury prevention and has developed SportsPerform to bridge the gap between science and application. SportsPerform translates scientific injury prevention and performance strategies in to useful training tools.
Lucinda Davies
Senior Physiotherapist, BSc (HONS) MCSP HPC
Lucinda qualified from Nottingham University, and has worked in a number of large teaching hospitals including The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham.
Since moving back to Gloucestershire Lucinda has continued to work closely with local hip, knee and ankle Orthopaedic Surgeons to ensure those she sees get the most from their surgery with both pre and post operative Physiotherapy.
Lucinda has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation, specifically lower limb injuries and biomechanics. She has worked with a range people including rugby players, athletes and injured military personnel. This experience has made her very knowledgeable in rehabilitation and sport specific strength and conditioning.
Lucinda is a keen sportswoman and runner, currently she is training hard for her newly found interest - triathlon.
Jonathon Davis
Senior Physiotherapist, BSc (HONS) MCSP HPC AACP
Jon graduated from York St John University and has predominantly worked in independent practice and spent a season with Crystal Palace Football Academy. He has treated a wide variety of people including professional athletes and Olympic medalists.
Before qualifying as a Physiotherapist Jon completed a degree in Sports Science and Exercise coaching and worked for 6years as a personal trainer. He understands the demands sports people place on their bodies and the need to recover fast.
At present Jon is training for a rather insane run from Bristol to London which will culminate in him completing the London Marathon.
Jacqui Adams
Clinical Specialist in Rheumatology and Hydrotherapy, MCSP HPC HT
Jacqui has been working as a Physiotherapist since 1979 and brings a wealth of experience including time spent in orthopaedics, rehabilitation, elderly care and outpatients departments at hospitals around the UK. Jacqui is a specialist Rheumatology Physiotherapist.
As an expert in Rheumatology, Jacqui works with patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus, fibromyalgia, polymyalgia rheumatica and hypermobility. Jacqui is passionate about helping people with these conditions learn to manage their symptoms and live a full active life.
Jacqui is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, BHPR (British Health Professionals in Rheumatology) and ATACP (Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). Married with two children, Jacqui enjoys singing, exercising her dogs and is a season ticket holder at Gloucester Rugby Club.
Kay Coe
Massage Therapist, ITEC MFHT
Kay trained at The Cotswold Academy in Holistic Massage. Since qualifying she has extended her skills and knowledge to include Deep Tissue, Pregnancy & Facial massage techniques. Kay aims to provide relaxation and relief to muscle strain and fatigue. She creates an environment which allows you to take time-out from your stresses of everyday life and enable your body to rebalance naturally.
Kay loves swimming with her young son and watching her husband play rugby at the weekends. She is also keen to exercise and especially enjoys Power Plate training.
Hannah Fulton
Hannah is our new super PA.
It is Hannah you will speak to when you call, who will reply to your emails and online booking requests.
Hannah will also help you with any insurance questions or other queries you may have.

Mr Harminder Gosal - Gosal Knee Clinic
MBBS, FRCS(Ed), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Orth)
Mr Gosal has been a Consultant in Cheltenham since 2001, and has a Specialist Interest in Knee Surgery. His Private Practice is based at the Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital and the One Stop Knee Clinic at Linton House. His NHS base is Cheltenham General Hospital.
Mr Rob Gleeson - Gloucestershire Knee Clinic
Mr Gleeson specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and has a special interest in surgery for knee instability, patellofemoral dysfunction, malalignment and unicompartmental arthritis. He is based at the Winfield Hospital, Gloucester, Nuffield Hospital, Cheltenham and Tetbury Hospital.
Mr Jon Wand - Cheltenham Shoulder and Elbow Clinic
B.Sc., M.B.B.S., F.R.C.S
Mr Wand has a special interest in shoulder and elbow surgery. In 1991 was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Cheltenham General Hospital. He has since progressed his interest in shoulder and elbow surgery by attending multiple specialist meetings and courses. He introduced a sub-specialist shoulder and elbow service to the Gloucestershire Hospital NHS Trust, including trauma care. He has a particular interest minimally in invasive arthroscopic procedures.
