Kate Markland
Kate studied at Kings College London where she received Physiotherapy training at St Thomas's and Kings College Hospitals, London. Whilst training as a Physiotherapist she worked as a Sports Injury Therapist, treating elite rowers. Since qualifying as a Physio she has undertaken numerous postgraduate studies, including The McKenzie Institute International's Diploma which identifies the highest level of clinical excellence in McKenzie Method. Kate is one of only a few clinicians to hold this qualification in the UK.
Kate enjoys the personal challenge of competitive sport. She has rowed at a high level and was selected for Great Britain team trials in 1999. She is now a keen runner and has completed the 2003, 2006 and 2007 Flora London Marathons. Kate understands the need for appropriate physical conditioning in sports injury prevention having had her own fair share of sports injuries.
The next stage in Kate’s career is the development of the SportsPerform program; this will offer people who play specific sports, unique and focused injury recovery and performance enhancement training.
Sally Church
Sally graduated as a Physiotherapist from Coventry University. She quickly specialised in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and soon qualified as a credentialed McKenzie therapist.

Sally has worked closely with gynaecologists and midwives to develop and promote an antenatal and postnatal service for women with pregnancy related musculoskeletal and bladder problems. She has also completed a postgraduate certificate in Women’s Health at Bradford University and is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health (ACPHW)
Sally is also qualified as a Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute and offers one to one and small group clinical Pilates classes. Clinical Pilates is ideal for individuals who have medical problems as the programme can be individually tailored specifically for your needs. With Sally’s clinical, anatomical and scientific knowledge you can be confident you are in safe hands.
