Your Physiotherapy Appointment

Physiotherapy appointments may be booked by telephone 01285 654059. We accept Physiotherapy referrals from individuals, medical practitioners and solicitors. It is not necessary to have a doctor's referral, unless it is needed for purposes of reimbursement from a private health insurance company.

Insurance Companies

We are registered with BUPA, AxaPPP and most other health insurance companies. Each insurance company has its own guidelines regarding Physiotherapy. It is important that you contact your insurance company immediately you require Physiotherapy to establish the extent of your cover for Physiotherapy treatment.

Please bring in your health insurance details with your reference number to your initial Physiotherapy consultation.

Physiotherapy Consultation

Your initial Physiotherapy consultation will take approximately 30 minutes. This allows time for you to tell the Physiotherapist the full history of your condition, for the Physiotherapist to assess your problem area and to discuss assessment findings with you and commence appropriate Physiotherapy treatment.

Follow-up Physiotherapy Treatments

Most Physiotherapy follow-up treatment sessions are half-hour appointments. The frequency of treatment will be determined by your condition and will be discussed with you by your Physiotherapist.
